Scope & work areas
- Interior design and spatial planning
- Premium mall and commercial fit-out
- Major hotel and high-end office interiors
- Finishes, lighting and building-services coordination
- Refurbishment and phased working
Coordination priorities
A strong design needs a clear path into construction. Materials, setting-out, joinery, lighting and service access should be resolved together. Large interiors also require attention to repeatable detailing, coordination between packages and the practical constraints of refurbishment.
Information & documentation
The following information helps define the work and agree the appropriate deliverables.
- Spatial and operational brief
- Drawings, finishes and material requirements
- Lighting and M&E interface schedules
- Sample, inspection and handover requirements
Main contracting & work packages
Define how this discipline fits into the overall main contract: construction boundaries, specialist subcontractor responsibilities, procurement interfaces, programme dependencies and acceptance requirements. Design responsibilities follow the actual appointment and approved project documents.
